Apex Sports is an independent, specialist running shop. Our business was started in 1989, by runners for runners. We stock a wide variety of shoes, clothing and accessories from all the major running brands. We are committed to your satisfaction and welcome your suggestions and comments.

Making A Purchase
Ordering from our web-shop is quite straightforward. Simply browse our catalogue, click on any items that you wish to buy, making sure you have the correct size, and put them in your shopping cart. When you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for details that we need to satisfy your order.

Please note that purchases from our web-site are only currently available to the U.K. For purchases from outside the U.K., please contact us first by phone or email at the address above.

All prices shown are in Pounds Sterling, inclusive of VAT. VAT is currently charged at 17.5% (except on children's shoes/clothing and most nutrition items, which are clearly marked).

Your on-line purchase can be paid for by Visa (including Delta and Electron), Mastercard, and Solo. Your card details are protected by the latest SSL 128 bit encryption. We do not charge for any item until we are sending it.

Shipping And Handling Orders are normally processed and despatched within 24 hours. Our standard Royal Mail, UK delivery is FREE OF CHARGE.

If, due to high demand, we are temporarily out of stock and unable to despatch your order (or part of it) within 5 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays), we will contact you with an expected despatch date and give you the choice of either accepting the revised date or cancelling the order (or part of it) without charge.

You may cancel your order prior to despatch, but as we often send orders out the same day, you had better be quick!

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Credit Card Security All credit card details are handled by Barclays Merchant Services, thererby offering the most secure transactions for customers and Apex Sports. Credit card details are not held in any form on the Apex Sports website.

Returns Policy
Please contact us first before returning any items, so we know what to expect and can deal with it as quickly and efficiently as possible.

If you are returning goods which are unsuitable or the wrong size, they must be unused and in a saleable condition. Once we have received them back, we will arrange to replace them or credit you. Except in exceptional circumstances, we would expect you to return them within 14 days. If you chose our free delivery option, we will either deduct a postage & packing charge of £4 from your credit or charge the £4 fee when sending out the replacement.

If you are returning faulty goods, simply send them back to us with a copy of your receipt and clear instructions of what you want us to do. Please ensure the goods are clean and dry when you send them. We'll either replace the goods or credit you. All goods supplied by Apex Sports come from official sources and are covered by normal manufacturer's warranty.

Our policy does not affect your statutory rights.
